Terms and Conditions

These terms and conditions may be changed with the agreement of both the customer and Wemove. Please notify us if you wish to make any changes at the time of booking.

By confirming a booking with Wemove you are agreeing to the following terms and conditions. Where we use the words ‘You’ or ‘Your’ it means the customer. ‘We, Us or Our’ means Wemove

Inclusion is mandatory and must include the following statements:

  1. We accept payments online using Visa and MasterCard credit/debit card in AED (or any other currency).
  2. Any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with this website shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of UAE.
  3. United Arab of Emirates Is our country of domicile.
  4. Minors under the age of 18 shall are prohibited to register as a User of this website and are not allowed to transact or use the website.
  5. If you make a payment for our products or services on our website. the details you are asked to submit will be provided directly to our payment provider via a secured connection.
  6. The cardholder must retain a copy of transaction records and Merchant policies and rules.

Local Standard Terms and Conditions

  1. Customer will get the proper quotation from WE MOVE for us to state any insurance, cancellation and postponement waivers for the job, demurrage, inspections, fees, or taxes payable to government from the origin or at the destination if the amount is available, if not it will be stated. Prices will not change not unless there are additional items. Condition of additional prices WILL BE per ITEM. Price ranges from 100AED to 150AED up to 350AED.
  2. Quotation is valid for 20 days only, from the date it was sent to the customer.
  3. WE MOVE or the customer can request for a survey to know the actual size of the goods. Customer has the option to use a different company for packing if they want to or it can be done by WE MOVE along with the whole service except the dismantling or disconnecting of items will be charged extra in some cases.
  4. The package needs to be inspected thoroughly upon receiving by both parties. Insurance agreement should be done or signed before picking up the items. The insurance payment must be made in advance (for both local and International).
  5. FOR STORAGE- Specific and detailed description of each package, boxes or in other packaging needs to be submitted. This includes the kilogram, dimension, the CBM of the goods and also the worth of the goods (Packing List).

  7. FOR STORAGE- Contract will be provided to the customer along with the terms and conditions.
  8. If there are any undeclared or illegal items WE MOVE will not be held liable for such transactions, as we are not allowed to move and store such items with WE MOVE, we may apply for a court order to dispose of such goods found in the consignment. You agree to pay us any charges, expenses, damages, legal cost or penalties reasonably incurred by WE MOVE in disposing of the goods.
  9. Goods can be moved and stored by WE MOVE by the capabilities and available resources of the company only.
  10. For electronic items and some special packing requirement there will be separate charges. EQ: wooden boxes, packing required for specific item like: Television, Washing Machine, Bicycle and ceramics.
  11. If you cancel or postpone this agreement, we reserve the right to charge you a reasonable postponement or cancellation fee according to how much notice is given. WE MOVE considers a 24 to 48 HOURS of cancellation only.
  12. Permits/ NOC for moving will be processed by the customer and WE MOVE will be providing all legal documentation as needed.
  13. Unless otherwise agreed by WE MOVE in writing, payment is required in full by cleared funds at the time of booking the removal or storage period. WE MOVE has the right to decline any removal or storage until such payment is received. Payment for insurance should be in advance unless advised otherwise. Only cash and dated cheque.
  14. WE MOVE do not accept liabilities for goods that were confiscated, seized, removed or damaged by the Police, Customs Authorities or other government agencies from the origin to destination. Normal wears and tears, natural or gradual deterioration and changes caused by the atmospheric conditions and other molds, rusting and other infestation.
    We are not liable as well for any delays of transit for such reason like:
    weather, or environmental accident or any machinery malfunction. For Limit of claims if the shipper and the consignee collect the goods within seven (7) days, we must be notified in writing for any loss or damage at the time while goods are handed over to the consignee.
  15. WE MOVE will be requesting for a feed back after the said transaction for future improvement and development of the company.

Work is not included unless agreed by writing. Goods to be moved are owned or property of the shipper or the consignee. Any transit times quoted by WE MOVE are estimated and based upon information known to WE MOVE at the time. Transit times may vary due to a number of factors outside beyond our control including but not limited to changes in sailing or departure dates made by the freight/shipping company, changes in the routes used by the
freight/shipping company and port congestion. We will advise you of any material changes to the transit times as soon as we become aware. We will not be liable for any loss or damage incurred by you as a result of delays in transit time unless directly attributable to WE MOVE negligence or breach of contract.

International Standard Terms and Conditions

  1. Customer will get the proper quotation from WE MOVE for us to state any insurance, cancellation and postponement waivers for the job, customs duties, port charges including (but not limited to) demurrage, inspections, or any fees, or taxes payable to government from the origin or to the destination if the amount is available, if not it will be stated.
  2. Quotation is valid 20 days only, from the date that it was sent.(sometimes it varies)
  3. Identifying the package whether it’s Lose or Full and household or commercial.
  4. WE MOVE or the customer can request for a survey to know the actual size, amount of the goods and will confirm the quote send previously(it could be lower or higher the amount mentioned). Customer has the option to get the packing done using a different moving company if they want to or else it could be done by WE MOVE along with the whole service except Dismantling, disconnecting of items will be additional charges in some cases.
  5. The package needs to be inspected thoroughly upon receiving by both parties. Insurance agreement should be done or signed before picking up the items. Insurance payment must be made in advance (for both local and International). Payment will be collected the same day of pick up, including the complete packing list and invoice packing list(list of items with the value of the goods) together with the signature of the customer FOR EACH PAGE.
  6. Specific and detailed description of each package, boxes or in other packaging needs to be submitted. This includes the kilogram, dimension and the CBM of the goods and also the worth of the goods (Packing List).
  7. WE MOVE would not be held liable of any undeclared items during the moving job. Any damages or breakages caused by our staff’s negligence will be paid except for any malfunction of items during and after the move. If goods are under insurance, it will be covered accordingly.
  8. If there are any undeclared illegal items WE MOVE will not be held liable for such transactions, as we are not allowed to move and store such items with WE MOVE, we may apply for a court order to dispose of any such goods found in the consignment. You agree to pay us any charges, expenses, damages, legal cost or penalties reasonably incurred by WE MOVE in disposing of the goods.

  14. WE MOVE is giving 5 days FREE storage for every international move after the said date it will be charged per day according to the size of the goods
  15. WE MOVE do not accept liabilities for goods that was confiscated, seized or removed or damaged by the Customs Authorities or other government agencies from the origin to destination. Normal wear and tear, natural or gradual deterioration and changes caused by the atmospheric conditions and other molds, rusting and other infestation. We are not liable as well for any delays of transit for such reason like: weather, or
    environmental accident or any machinery malfunction. For Limit of claims if the shipper and the consignee collect the goods within seven (7) days, we must notify in writing for any loss or damage at the time of goods are handed over to the consignee.
  16. . Customer has the right to track the shipment through our portal, a unique tracking number will be given via email after we pick up or received the goods that will be ship.
  17. WE MOVE will be requesting for a feed back after the said transaction for future improvement and development of the company.

Storage Standard Terms and Conditions

  1. Customer will get the proper quotation from WE MOVE for us to state any insurance, cancellation and postponement waivers for the job, demurrage, inspections, or any fees, or taxes payable to government from the origin or to the destination if the amount is available, if not it will be stated.

  3. WE MOVE or the customer can request for a survey to know the actual size of the goods
  4. Customer has the option to choose between self storage or sharing storage facility or whichever available. For SHARING the it will be in a group of goods and climate controlled facility WITHOUT 24 HOUR access while the SELF STORAGE has 24/7 access with a lockable facility, AC storage.
  5. Customer has the option if they will asked for a packing services to the other company or it could be done by WE MOVE along with the whole service. Dismantle, disconnecting of items will be additional charges in some cases.
  6. Upon accepting the packages or pick up it needs to check well and inspect by both parties. Insurance agreement should be done or signed before pick up of the items. Insurance should be in advance payment (for both local and International). ALL items needs to be insured by WE MOVE. The customer MUST declare the total value of the ITEMS. From 1000 AED to 250,000 AED insurance fee is funded by WE MOVE, EXCEPT from 251,000 AED UP, amount needs to pay by the customer of 1.75% of the total value.

  8. WE MOVE has no liability of any undeclared items on the moving job. Breakage will be paid due to our negligence except for any malfunction of items during and after the move. If goods are under insurance, it will be covered accordingly.
  9. If there’s any undeclared illegal items WE MOVE will not held liable for any illegal transactions, it is prohibited to moved and store with WE MOVE, we may apply for a court order to dispose of any such goods found in the consignment. You agree to pay us any charges, expenses, damages, legal cost or penalties reasonably incurred by WE MOVE in disposing of the goods.

  12. If you cancel and postpone this agreement, we reserve the right to charge you a reasonable postponement or cancellation fee according to how much notice is given. WE MOVE considers a 24 to 48 HOURS of cancellation only. This agreement may be cancelled by either We Move or depositor within 15 days upon Goods already having been stored, where in a charge of 1 month rate of storage will become payable by the depositor together with a cancellation fee of AED 500. Cancellation is to be written and submitted to the other party to the agreement within the period of 15 days.
  13. Permits/ NOC for moving will be processed by the customer and WE MOVE will be providing all legal documentation as needed.
  14. No variations will be made to this agreement. If depositor wishes to store more goods, a new agreement will be drawn up and signed.
  15. Unless otherwise agreed by WE MOVE in writing, payment is required in full by cleared funds at the time of booking the removal or storage period. WE MOVE has the right to decline any removal or storage until such payment is received. Payment for insurance should be in advance unless there will be some advise. Only cash and dated cheque.
  16. If the depositor is behind 60 Days of Payment, WE MOVE can have the right to charge them or to claim the goods for auction TO RECOVER THE UNPAID AMOUNT.
  17. Goods must be a legitimate item or own by the depositor. We require for you to submit the following requirements: Passport, emirates ID and visa copy and for corporate or commercial trade license and visa copy of the contact person or the one that is in charge, to be submitted on or before we get all the items.
  18. DEPOSITOR SHOULD PAY 1 MONTH RENT AND SECURITY DEPOSIT (that will be refunded upon REDELIVERY) upon pick up the goods. For long term storage cheque can be divided in PDC within the span of time. First PDC will be DATED on the current date of collection After the contract is finish WE MOVE will refund the deposit, however if there’s unpaid/unsettled bill WE MOVE has the right to deduct or take the deposit to recover the unpaid amount. For the refund just bring the deposit receipt.
  19. Upon redelivery you are required to sign a redelivery form to prove that you have received your ALL YOUR ITEMS.
